Art Classes

Cartooning (ages 11-15)

This class will focus on enhancing the student’s individuality by promoting and stretching their “drawing Muscles through the use of various cartoon concepts and cartoon basics. The final piece of artwork will be a professional looking cartoon cell created by the students from their own characters developed in the class.

Drawing 101 (ages 8-Adult)

A foundation course which will promote personal growth and expression through the exploration of drawing exercises and 2D design. We will work from still life arrangements, landscapes, and photographs. We will rediscover what it is like to really see what you are looking at and respond to it in a fresh and personal expression. Throw await your rules- you won’t need them to create lively and interesting drawings.

 
Kids Drawing (ages 5-7)

This class will enhance the creative gift and freedom that this age group of children naturally process. The students will explore differing design elements and art mediums which will enhance their natural talents. The class will then focus on putting these drawings into book format that will highlight their finished pieces.
